647.Chapter 647

Gabriel, who had always presented himself as a cultured and refined man, could no longer keep up the facade. His face flushed red in anger, especially on the side his son had punched earlier. Bruised and swollen, he looked a far cry from the charming man he used to be.

Your Majesty, even so, there are plenty of people in this world who look alike,Gabriel argued. While this boy does bear a strong resemblance to me, there are differences upon closer look at his features. Those eyes, his nose-

Enough,Eliza interrupted sharply. She tilted her head slightly, casting a cold, condescending gaze down at Gabriel. She said coolly, Stick to your lies, and I’ll make sure you can’t back them up.

over her. And so, she followed the messenger to the palace and waited outside the grand hall.

While waiting, Sophie noticed a young man in front of her, also waiting to be summoned. She could only make out his side profile, but something about him felt oddly familiar. He didn’t turn around. Whatever the feeling was, she couldn’t place it, but it gnawed at her.
