When Love Breaks (Josephine) novel Chapter 237

"If I had known that he was like that, I would never have wasted three years on him. I'm so stupid. I'm such an idiot! I'm such a fool!"

She raised her hand and smacked herself on her forehead, only for Ethan to grab her wrist.

"Just let me be! Let go of me! If I don't teach myself a lesson, I'll keep falling for his lies. I deserve this. I deserve to be scolded. I'm such a fool!"

Ethan let out a sigh. He had no choice but to grab both her wrists in one hand. Then, he pulled out a handkerchief from his pocket and placed it over her face.

"Josephine, even if you want to vent, at least pick a better place. This is a hotel parking lot. Many people walk through here, and there are surveillance cameras.

"Are you sure you want to have a breakdown here?"

Josephine stiffened. She raised her head, only to realize she was at the parking lot.

Right above her, a surveillance camera was pointing directly at her.

Josephine was startled. She quickly wiped her tears and snot with the handkerchief. "Why didn't you warn me earlier?"

Ethan chuckled at how fast her expression changed. "I tried my best. I couldn't tell you to look up at the camera just when you're about to cry, could I? That would've ruined the moment."

"What moment?"

Josephine quickly looked around, afraid that the paparazzi might have caught her crying.

"Let's get out of here."

Without much thought, she grabbed Ethan by the wrist and walked away.

When they got into George's car, she covered her face with the handkerchief, not wanting Ethan and George to see her crying.

If Zayn had loved her even the slightest bit, he would have never let another woman carry his child.

All this while, Zayn had told her that she was too young and that they had just gotten married.

He wanted them to spend more time together, so they would only consider trying after she turned 25.

Unexpectedly, he'd found another woman and gotten her pregnant.

Liar!
