George's punch was merciless. Zayn staggered back a step, nearly losing his balance.

He had already been teetering on the edge of an outburst, and that punch sent him over. With a sudden burst of strength, he lunged at George, tackling him to the ground.

Then, he started throwing punches—one after another—landing them squarely on George's face.

Gloria let out a startled cry and quickly called for the nearby gardeners to help. But when they arrived, none of them dared to step forward.

Zayn might have looked disheveled, but his commanding presence and luxury watch made it clear he was someone of status. If they injured him, who knew what kind of consequences they would face? No one dared to act recklessly.

Josephine trembled with rage. "Zayn, stop! Stop it right now! Or I'll call the police!"

But no matter what she said, her words fell on deaf ears. Zayn remained fixated on pummeling George, as if nothing else existed.

George's face was quickly swelling on one side, his mouth split open and bleeding.

Unable to bear the horrifying sight any longer, Josephine rushed forward and grabbed Zayn's arm.

"Zayn!" she called out, raising her hand to slap him. But before she could, Zayn suddenly looked up at her.

His eyes were bloodshot, filled with agony and madness she had never seen before.

With one hand gripping George's throat, he pulled her closer with the other. His voice was almost pleading. "As long as you don't divorce me, I'll do whatever you want."

"Even if I want that baby gone?" Josephine asked softly.

She had no real intention of doing something so cruel—she only wanted to test his resolve.

Zayn's brief hesitation and silence gave her the answer.

Curling her lips, she said, "Stop holding onto me, Zayn. Stop fighting this. Divorce is what's best for both of us. Now let George go."

Zayn frowned, his voice hoarse. "That isn't my child. But it determines whether I can inherit Joe's fortune. You just need to endure a few more months, and then we can take the inheritance and live a good life. Wouldn't that be nice? Why are you making such a fuss?"
