Josephine quickly handed him the glass. "Thank you."

However, when she took the glass back and drank, she immediately sobered up because the drink was actually just plain water.

"Is this really white wine? This doesn't taste like wine at all!"

Ethan took the glass from her and drank from it. He immediately made a face as if he had been choked. "Such strong wine, and you say it has no taste? You must be really drunk."

His acting was so convincing that it left Josephine stunned. She took a few more sips but couldn't taste any alcohol. She wondered if she really was too drunk, just like he said.

Since she was already numb, she figured she might as well drink to her heart's content. So, one cup after another, she kept handing Ethan her empty glass.

Ethan watched her down warm water so intensely that he felt both concerned and amused. Still, he went along with it and poured the entire jug for her to drink.

After she finished, he spread his hands. "You've finished the entire bottle."

Josephine covered her flushed cheeks, stunned. "I actually drank a whole bottle of white wine and a whole bottle of red wine. I broke my own record."

In the past, the most she could handle was just two or three small glasses of red wine. She never imagined she had such a high alcohol tolerance.

Ethan didn't expose her and just agreed. "Yeah, so now you can go ahead and vent all your emotions. No one will blame a drunk person for throwing a tantrum."

Josephine blinked in confusion, then frowned. "Really? Then I'm going to have a real tantrum."

Ethan, while cleaning the table, glanced at her and asked, "How do you plan to do that?"
