Feeling offended, Esther frowned in disgust. "Please behave yourself. Even if this is your house, I have to protect myself. I can't say for sure what I'll do if you don't."

"I didn't think you'd be so different. No wonder my brother loves you so much." Luther found this amusing but stepped back to give her some space. "Alright, I'll stop joking. You're just too cute."

Esther was close to losing her temper. "What? Can't you be serious?"

Luther couldn't help but laugh loudly. "I just gave you some big news. How could you forget about my kindness?"

"Thanks for that. But that's a different matter," Esther said.

"It was just a joke."

"Well, it's not funny."

"Fine, I won't mention it again if you don't find it funny." Luther wanted to pat her on the head as she looked so annoyed, but she pushed his hand away.

"Alright, I'll leave since you've told me everything."

Luther saw her phone and said, "Just charge it here. Then you can go home."
