"Is she really a sugar baby? It isn't too bad being with Jenson Lambert, right?"
Why would Suzanne give up Jenson for a sugar daddy? This did not seem logical at all. Everyone knew that Jenson's family was wealthy.
So, who came to pick Suzanne up the day before? That was such a mystery.
However, they all seemed to forget something—that Suzanne was still a shareholder of Yates Corporation.
Suzanne ignored all of their comments and got to work.
Gone was the time when she used to treat Jenson as her everything. She was no longer the fool that could be taken advantage of in the past.
…
At the same time, Jenson had just finished a shoot and was heading back to his dressing room. He was still in costume, looking dashing and heartwarming.
In his dressing room, he sat down and poured himself a glass of water. Before he could even take a sip, his manager, Mason, entered in a gray casual suit.
Jenson looked at Mason and asked, "So? Did she like it?"
Suzanne has always wanted their relationship to go public. She was probably elated that he had been giving her bouquets of flowers.
Mason looked a little troubled. He looked at Jenson tentatively, not knowing how to tell him.
Jenson's gaze darkened at Mason's reaction, and a bad feeling rose in his heart. He said coolly, "Spit it out."
After looking around to make sure that no one was eavesdropping on them, Mason looked at Jenson and said, "Ms. Yates… threw your bouquet into the trash."
The air in the dressing room dropped a few degrees. Jenson looked like he was about to blow up. He squeezed so hard that the glass in his hand shattered into pieces. The shards cut his palm, and blood started dripping.
