Jenson had never put on a ring like that for Suzanne before. Austin was the first.
A warm emotion spread through Suzanne's entire body.
Austin looked at her seriously and said, "Do mine."
Suzanne instantly understood what he meant. She took a deep breath to calm herself down, but her mind was still in a mess. She took the other ring out from the box and gently put it on him.
Austin looked at the ring on his finger in detail before looking at her with a smile. "It looks great."
The ring cost Austin nothing at all. He would probably even have walked past it if he ever encountered it in a shop, yet at that moment, he looked satisfied and showed his bare emotions to Suzanne.
He reached out his left hand with the ring on his ring finger to Suzanne.
She smiled and placed her right hand on his palm. Their rings glimmered under the lights.
The crowd broke into rapturous applause. Many even took their phones out to record the scene. This was a romantic scene between a gorgeous couple, so everyone wanted to record it.
The host looked at Austin and Suzanne enviously. With a smile on her face, she announced, "Let's congratulate this couple once more. Our event has come to an end. Thank you for participating, everyone!"
As the staff started cleaning up the space, Austin held Suzanne's hand and led her to the cashier. After paying for the meal, they walked hand-in-hand back to the car.
Austin had let Gabriel end work for the day after sending them to the restaurant, so Austin had to drive.
Suzanne, in the passenger seat, was still reeling from the events that evening. She still had not calmed down yet.
