Many female celebrities were at the point of being unhealthy.
Cheryl knew that Suzanne was worried about her. She nodded and said, "Yes, I understand."
Suddenly, someone called out from behind them, "Dr. Smith? What a coincidence to bump into you here."
Suzanne and Cheryl turned around at the same time to see Cindy, in casual wear, looking at them in surprise.
Suzanne furrowed her brows, secretly wondering why Cindy would be here.
Cheryl looked at Cindy in confusion before looking at Suzanne. She noticed how displeased Suzanne was and instantly understood that Suzanne did not like this newcomer.
Cheryl said nothing and merely returned to her meal.
Cindy had finally bumped into Suzanne, so she was definitely not going to let it go. She walked over and asked Suzanne joyfully, "Dr. Smith, what would you like to eat? Order whatever you want. Dinner is on me."
Her father's condition was getting worse. If he continued delaying treatment, they might no longer be able to treat him in time.
Now that Cindy had met Suzanne here, she took it as the universe's way of telling her not to give up.
Suzanne placed her cutlery down as her appetite was all gone. She looked at Cindy with some irritation. "Ms. Hunt, we don't know each other. Please leave."
She was annoyed by Cindy's harassment. If Kendall had not done all those illegal things and hurt so many people, she would have treated him already.
How could she possibly treat such a villain? Did these people think that they could do anything just because they were wealthy?
Cindy stiffened. People were starting to look at them, which embarrassed Cindy further.
However, she had to bear it all for her father. She looked at Suzanne with tears welling up in her eyes. Then, she lowered her head and sobbed, her tears falling to the ground.
"Dr. Smith, I know you don't want to save my father, but it's a matter of life and death we're talking about."
Cheryl suddenly paused. Life and death?
