The uniformed hotel staff girl was staring at Valerie and Valerie could see raw fear in her eyes, "Please tell me. Are you from the Sinclair family?" the girl repeated the question.
Valerie was alarmed by the sudden change of expression, "Is everything alright, Roma?"
Maybe the tip I paid her wasn’t enough and I should give her some more money. She thought silently while looking at Roma’s face.
"Y-you are Valerie Sinclair?" Valerie had a proud grin on her face when she nodded.
"Yes, I am."
"Ma’am. I mean..." Roma gulped down her saliva, "Are you Mr. Sinclair’s wife? Are you from his family?"
"Yes..." Valerie felt strange. The girl looked confused and panicked. What was the matter?
"I ... I’m sorry... I think I made a blunder.... I’m so sorry, Ma’am."
Valerie wasn’t understanding anything. Why did she seem suddenly scared?
"If you’re from the Sinclair family then your husband booked the swimming area for Sinclair Women. Yes, that’s what he said. You must be looking for the swimming pool area. Right?"
Valerie thought of saying no but then stopped herself in time. An evil grin appeared on her face that she quickly hid.
"Sinclair Women?" she asked the girl who quickly nodded her head.
"Yes, Ma’am,"
"For me and Nina?" she said under her breath, but Roma heard her.
"I don’t know her name but ... she is already there."
Oh. Nina is already there?
They must have ushered her to the pool area straight from the restaurant right after Valerie left.
Valerie wanted to squeal in excitement.
Rafael at last allowed them to meet him. He booked a pool area for them?
Wow!
Valerie gave Roma an over-brightened smile and chuckled, "Then I guess, guide me to the poolside."
***
Roma was a very pleasant woman, she offered Valerie a beer can and guided her to the pool area.
However, she stopped in the hallway where a warning was displayed on the wall in bold words.
This pool is booked privately, and nobody is allowed to cross this line.
Roma gave Valerie an apologetic smile, "I can’t take you further unless someone from there intercom the desk. There is a sliding door which is opening to the pool area. All the best ma’am and please forgive me for not guiding you before."
"It’s ok," Valerie said, clasping her hands before her chest, trying to contain her excitement.
From here she was on her own.
Opening the can, she took a sip and looked over her shoulder. Roma had already left, and Valerie was thankful that she had the beer.
She was meeting Rafael after such a long time and the thought of spending the night with him was giving her exciting shivers.
Once their bodies would be one, Marissa wouldn’t be able to do any further damage.
Trying to control her rugged breathing, Valerie started walking to the pool.
What if Nina leaves us there and we might end up doing it near the pool?
An odd sensation ran past her that gave a giddy feeling in the pit of her stomach.
Rafael! She almost moaned his name.
She strolled towards the sliding door and then glued her palms to it. Her entrance to the happiness and the beginning of Marissa’s jealousy.
She couldn’t wait to see that desperate expression crossing her face when tomorrow in the office, she would find her elder sister with Rafael.
She could hear voices coming from the pool area and thought that maybe Nina was talking to her son. She slid the door a little and peeked outside.
Why would she jump in the pool with her son? She shuddered at her stupid thoughts.
Oh, My God!
My Goodness!
It is Her!
It’s my sister Marissa.
What is she doing here?
What are they doing at this hour?
