They all were wet and dirty and had to stand under the shower of an attached bathroom of the guestroom to wash themselves.
The servants were so nice that they provided them with fresh towels and new attires, and Marissa had this unsettling feeling in her heart.
How come they had gotten the correct sizes for them? According to her knowledge, the prior owner had only one son and he was a grown-up.
Her eyes flickered with guilt as she looked at the mess in the bathroom. She was thinking of cleaning it when Rafael pulled her out.
"We all are waiting! Let’s start the round. Children are being impatient."

Marissa and the kids were observing every room with wide-eyed amazement as Rafael kept showing them around the palace.
"There are so many bedrooms. How many more do we have to see?" Ariel finished with a yawn and then rubbed her eyes with her fists.
Children had started yawning and Marissa realized they must be tired. Ever since they were here, they had been busy in their playtime.
They needed rest.
"Sure, sweetheart. I just need to show you one more room and then you all can rest a little," Rafael was carrying Abigail while showing around the house. The little girl wasn’t interested in staying in one place anymore.
There were a few servants who were accompanying them. Whenever Rafael wanted to stop at a door, they were the ones opening the doors for them.
Marissa was thoroughly impressed and almost convinced that the palace belonged to some royal family in the past.
However, when this one room was opened, they all froze in place.
"Holy crap!" Alex whispered, "What is this!"
Marisa was herself so stunned that she couldn’t even scold Alex for using cuss words. Ariel who was feeling sleepy a few minutes back was now in a state of shock.
The room that was the size of their office hallway had three beds with personalized cupboards and nightstands.
One set was in a navy color scheme with gold accents. It had mini characters of Avengers pasted on the cupboard. Alexander’s favorite.
The rest of the two were Terra cotta and burnt orange where Ariel and Abigail’s favorite characters were pasted.
Abigail wiggled in Rafael’s arms so that she could get down and have a closer look. They were looking closely at everything and there was awe in their eyes.
Marissa was silent, not understanding what was going on. Perhaps Ariel had picked up on her thoughts and expressed them, "Daddy. It seems like the new owner also had three kids and they also liked the same things as us."
"Agree!" Alex spoke, "Even the color scheme isn’t traditional. Thankfully no baby blue for boys and no baby pink for girls."
They were discussing it more among themselves and Marissa could feel her heart thumping in her chest.
"Do you like it?" Rafael asked her, and she shrugged nonchalantly.
Why should she say anything when this house wasn’t hers? Once it used to be her dream to look inside this palace but today, she was getting this absurd vibe.
Something wasn’t right.
"Wait a minute!" Alex’s voice raised slightly in disbelief, "If there is a kids’ room then there should be a master bedroom too."
Rafael nodded happily, being proud of his son.
"Yes. There is. But as you all are too tired, we can pause the tour for a few..." he wanted to say ’for a few hours’ but all the kids started shaking their heads.
