Marissa was confident about what was about to happen in the next few minutes between her and Rafael. However, the moment he was out of the bathroom wrapped in that towel around his waist, she didn’t know what to do anymore.
He was so handsome, and his beautifully carved body was sending shivers down her spine. She swallowed hard when realized, he was standing there staring at her with that hunger in his eyes.
"Ah... I... my phone... I can’t find it..." She fumbled with her words, almost jumping out of the bed, and went to the other corner of the room, where her purse was placed.
With shivering hands, she took out her phone from her purse and even dropped it on the floor.
"Fu*ck!" she could feel his piercing gaze on her back and that reminded her, that he must be having a clear view of her panties.
She quickly turned, carrying her phone and her purse clutched to her chest.
"Th... this... I was... expecting a call," she tried explaining to him with a wobbly grin and he nodded in understanding.
He was rooted to the spot, not attempting to move. As if he was giving her time to decide.
She opened her phone as she needed to type something to take her mind off his body and bam! There were messages from Delinda.
Her body got tensed.
Instead of reading those messages she switched off her phone. This wasn’t Delinda’s time.
"Take your time, strawberry," he cooed, and she felt weak in her knees. His look, his voice, his eyes... everything had turned gentle.
She placed back her purse awkwardly and started fumbling with the hem of her small gown.
"You look cute when you are nervous," there was amusement in his eyes, and she glared at him.
"Who is nervous?"
"Oh. Not you!" He shrugged, "Obviously!" he was biting back the grin. She narrowed her eyes at the man who was standing there only in a towel, with his hands placed on his hips.
She found the situation somewhat funny.
He walked to the rack of the mini bar and took out two glasses and a wine bottle from there.
She watched him as he prepared wine for both and brought the glasses to her.
"Here. Take it," he handed her the glass. Instead of sipping it, she just observed it and then looked up.
"Why this?"
He smiled and finished his in a single chug, "To calm your nerves, little Greene. Now don’t tell me you are hiding like a kitten because you are scared."
"I’m not scared nor I’m hiding like a kitten!" she shot at him.
"Ahan! Then maybe prove it!" her curved down his lips.
"What? Prove what!"
"Finish your wine and stand close to me!" he raised a challenging brow.

I was into the story but then the translator who was translating it for whatever language to English stopped translating half the words are half English and another language it's very hard to follow a book when you can't understand what the written word is translators need to do better...
