It had been one week to the Will reading and Valerie didn’t know what went wrong. Her credit cards had stopped working. She tried contacting the bank on the phone, but they had stopped taking her calls.
She needed to pay hotel room charges. The food, her conveyance, her club visits. Everything needed money.
This morning when she was going to the dining area to have breakfast, a manager went to her and reminded her of her due amount.
She needed to visit her bank in Sangua city yet she couldn’t leave Kanderton without paying her hotel bills. That was the reason she decided to meet Nina.
She went to the MSin Palace and for a brief moment, a wave of jealousy washed over her. The palace no more had MSin written on it. Instead, in bold letters, there was written:
Marissa Sinclair palace.
She was still fuming when the butler took her inside and made her seated in the drawing room.
White waiting for Nina, she looked around and saw a small picture frame of Nina with the triplets. They were laughing at something.
If only Valerie could get pregnant...
She did have this idea that once she had a baby, Nina would easily be in her control but alas. Marissa stole this chance from her.
She was stealing everything from her. Her husband, her property, and her kids.
When the door opened, she didn’t get up to greet Nina. The older woman had changed and had become happier and meaner after discovering that she was a granny.
"Why are you here, Valerie?" Nina asked her directly without beating around the bush.
Valerie was also in no mood for any games or nonsense, "I need help. The banks have blocked my cards."
Nina frowned and made a pout, "Then what should I do?" she asked with a shrug and Valerie wanted to claw at her face.
"Maybe start by telling the truth about who is the real wife of Rafael?" she suggested casually.
Nina regarded her face for a few minutes and then cleared her throat, "Even if I’ll tell the world that you’re the real wife then what? What’s next, Val?"
Valerie didn’t speak and kept fumbling her fingers.
Heaving a sigh, Nina shook her head, "Marissa didn’t get the property because she is his wife. According to the documents he sold it. Do you know what I mean? He didn’t gift her. He sold it to her. One can charge a lawsuit for gifting something expensive, but you can’t do a thing about selling an item. There is nothing you can do about his property or his kids. Everyone knows she is the mom, and she owns everything."
Nina at last got up, "Sorry to disappoint you, Valerie. But I can’t do anything about it."
At this point, Valerie wanted to cry. Nina had changed one eighty degrees. Now she was blind and couldn’t see anything beyond her grandkids.

I was into the story but then the translator who was translating it for whatever language to English stopped translating half the words are half English and another language it's very hard to follow a book when you can't understand what the written word is translators need to do better...
