Rafael looked around and found a jug and a glass. He went there to pour water and offered her the glass, but she rejected it by pushing his wrist, "I don’t want it," she sobbed.

"Your sorry isn’t enough," she snapped and started crying again, "Now get lost!"

Rafael was surprised.

No woman ever talked to him like that. After spending the night with him, they were always happy.

They used to sleep with him, hoping that he would offer them a diamond ring the next morning but they used to get disappointed thoroughly when he used to offer them cash.

Rafael felt more guilty.

"We don’t know. Maybe we are about to get rich."

Marissa heard her but couldn’t understand. Maybe Rafael had a fight with Val? She wanted to be happy but then scolded herself.

She shouldn’t have these selfish thoughts for her sister.

She went to her room to complete her homework while Valerie who was sitting in her room, was now smoking a cigarette.

She enjoyed the act as she had great trust in her acting ability.

"No matter where you go," Valerie told herself, "You will come back to me."

Later she was proved right.
