"Is Rafael back?" Sarah asked Valerie when she went to pick her up from the White Palace.
"Hmm!" Valerie buckled her seat and leaned back her head. She was too tired to speak anything.
Rafael’s return was no less than a miracle.
"Well, congratulations my friend," Sarah moved ahead and held her hands that were placed on her lap, "I guess you are a free bird now."
Valerie turned her head a little and glanced at Sarah who was starting the car engine, "I might be clear of this accusation. But I need to meet Nina once and give her a tight slap right across her face."
Sarah chuckled at her aggression. Valerie should have been happy but instead, she was furious at Nina.
"She is an old woman, Val. Come on. Let it go. Cut her some slack," Sarah was thoroughly entertained.
Valerie started shaking her head. Let it go? Seriously?
"Tell me! Was your sister happy?" Sarah asked her and Valerie didn’t know how to answer that. Marissa’s husband was back but without any memory.
"Must be," she shrugged, "My sister took my most prized possession from me. She owes me for that,"
"What do you mean?" Sarah asked her, turning the car to the right of the neighborhood where they were living nowadays.
"I’ll let you know once I come up with a plan. Right now, I need to keep my focus on Nina. The bitch thought that she could destroy my life. She had forgotten that I wasn’t Marissa. I was Valerie. Nobody can mess with me."

Every time, Marissa would open her eyes during her sleep, she would find Rafael propped on his elbow beside her, staring at her face.
In the past, she had caught him several times doing that, but this night felt different. Maybe because he had returned after so many days and Marissa felt safe in his presence.
Once she did try to convince him when saw him in the same position, "You should go to sleep."
Instead of answering her, he simply brushed his knuckle against her cheek, sending her back into a deep sleep.
At one point, she tried to move a little and felt a heavy weight on her body. With a confused mind, she opened her eyes and found his head placed on her chest.
"What the..." She looked down at his black head and tried to shake him a little.
Didn’t he assure her last night that he would keep his distance?
"Rafael!" she whispered shaking his shoulder. He didn’t even budge from his position.
"Alexander! Wakie wakie!" she wiggled a little to make him realize that she was under his immense weight.
He was in a deep sleep to even feel anything.
"Urgh. Rafael. You are crushing me under your weight," his breathing was even as if he didn’t even hear her in his peaceful slumber.
With a sigh, she tried to look for the timepiece or her phone but still her movements were limited due to him.
She frowned under him and got a little louder, "Rafael!" she even slapped his back.

I was into the story but then the translator who was translating it for whatever language to English stopped translating half the words are half English and another language it's very hard to follow a book when you can't understand what the written word is translators need to do better...
