"Geez! Table number three ordered chicken wings a while back," Aniya told the in charge who tilted his head to get a better look at table number three.
"Oh, damn. Ask them to wait. Apologize if you can. I’ll send it ASAP..." he jogged to the kitchen and Anya straightened her skirt before walking to the table where a group of men were seated.
"Sir. I really apologize to you, but Chicken wings might take time."
The man who had ordered it seemed annoyed by the blunder and tried to control his anger, "It’s OK, miss. But I have been waiting for it for the past half an hour."
Aniya nodded and waved towards the kitchen, "I’m extremely sorry, sir. Please start the main course, I’ll bring it..."
The man cursed under his breath, "You must be out of your mind. It was supposed to be a starter, and you are asking me to start my main course so that I can eat the starter in the end! What fu*cking logic is this?"
He was flaring up too quickly and Aniya could feel sweat on her palms and temple. Though the AC was working fine.
"It’s ok, Larson," Another man who had been observing Aniya, placed his hand on Larson’s arm, but his eyes stayed on Aniya’s face, "Go and bring the ..." he paused, "Again... what was your name?"
Aniya was sure, he never asked her name. However, she could make the situation worse by saying that.
"Aniya James," she pointed towards her chest where the badge was attached to her white blouse.
"Yeah. Aniya James. Bring the chicken when it’s ready," he finished with a smirk. The man wasn’t that god looking but everything he was wearing spoke of money.
His suit, his wristwatch, his shoes even the faint scent of his cologne showed it was expensive.
When she came back to the counter, she quickly wiped her sweat with the back of her hand.
"What happened to you?" She was startled by Lisa’s sudden presence right behind her.
"The chef forgot about his order," she pointed to the table number three and seemed to lose her shit when found the same man staring her way, "Shit he is looking here."
"Who is looking here?" Lisa who was trying to follow her gaze asked her in confusion.
"Table number three," she muttered under her breath.
The restaurant usually favored its employees and had a no violence or no misbehaving policy, but it also taught its waiters that a customer is always right.
After a few minutes, the in charge went to the table to cool down the situation, "The mistake was from the chef’s side," he informed them as soon as he returned from the table, "And Aniya made a blunder by suggesting him to start his main course."
"B... but... but I wanted to ..."
"We know what you wanted to. This is counted as unsolicited advice. You could have asked him if he would like to wait for it or have it later. You could have offered him to pack it for takeaway. You ask for suggestions, Aniya. Their choices matter. Not your pieces of advice."
Standing beside her, Lisa waved her hands, "OK. Got it. She won’t do it again," Lisa then turned to the in charge, "Mind, if I go and handle the situation?"
The in charge at once shook his head, "For now it’s under control. Be careful about it the next time, Aniya."
She didn’t want to go back to that table now. That man had raised his voice and the people sitting around looked at her.
Yes, because tonight I couldn’t get the chance to save it.

I was into the story but then the translator who was translating it for whatever language to English stopped translating half the words are half English and another language it's very hard to follow a book when you can't understand what the written word is translators need to do better...
