Mr. President You Are The Daddy Of My Triplets novel Chapter 446

Chapter 446: 446- Passion

"University is boring. They love dumping assignments on our faces," Ariel complained on the call. George was sitting with his feet propped up on a stool, lazily twirling a pen between his fingers. freёwebnoѵel.com

His gaze drifted to the wall clock, checking the time. Anaya must have known by now that Star Corps was closed today. He had made sure that the driver stayed there in case she wanted to come back.

"You must be getting ready for the office?" Ariel’s voice pulled him back, completely unaware of his thoughts.

"Yeah... N-no...!" he fumbled which was rare.

"That’s confusing. Is it a yeah or neh? Is it about a girl?"

George stiffened, momentarily caught off guard. His brows knitted together as he sat up straighter, "Girl?"

"Yeah. Aunt Sophie once told me that Daddy closed the office just because Mom was scared to go to the office. He got the office building fumigated. I hope it’s not the same in your case."

George pressed his lips together, unsure how to respond. He didn’t say anything, and Ariel immediately caught on.

"Is it really about a girl, George?" she pressed, curiosity was evident in her voice.

"N-no. Don’t be stupid," he scoffed, rubbing the back of his neck.

Ariel was still telling him her university tales, "George. What happened to your assignment? Have you submitted it?"

George frowned slightly, running a hand through his hair. His mind had been so preoccupied with Anaya that he had completely forgotten about his last journal submission. His professor had asked him to send the assignment by email.

"I’m so busy with all these meetings that I couldn’t get time, but I guess I need to start it today," he admitted with a sigh.

"Ah! Busy with meetings or with a girl!"

George smirked, shaking his head, "With a girl! Happy now?"

"Nah! I’m too jealous. I thought I was the only one in your life," Ariel whined, and he could almost imagine her making a pout.

George chuckled, leaning back against the couch, "Shut up. You are the only one!" his voice had sincerity.

"Oh, thanks. That’s a relief," Ariel giggled, but before George could respond, someone called her name in the background, "I need to go, George. Love you."

George was about to say I love you too when the call got disconnected. He exhaled, staring at his phone. His fingers hovered the screen for a second before he shifted his attention back to his thoughts.

He wanted to call his driver and ask him if Anaya had decided to come back.

He got up when the elevator doors slid open, and he found Anaya standing there. Irritation was evident on her face.

"George!"

"You’re back?" a big grin appeared on his lips as he headed to her and before she could say anything he pulled her to him, "I was waiting for you, little dove."

However, he was shocked when she pushed him back, "Y-you gave an off?" her eyes narrowed into thin slits, "Who does that?"

Those who care, do that all the time, Anaya.

He couldn’t tell this to her.
