George saw her silently packing her purse. She had already changed into her old clothes, though he still wanted to see her in his oversized T-shirt.
"I’ve asked the driver to drop you off at some distance from the hostel," he informed her, and she nodded with a faint smile.
"Thanks,"
Something wasn’t right. She didn’t feel alright to him.
She took a man’s name... what was that? Yeah. Dorian Maxwell. She asked if he knew him, then wiped her face and decided it was time to leave.
This girl held a special place in his heart. He didn’t want to scare her with any kind of commitment but in all honesty, he didn’t want to let her go.
However, he needed to respect her decision too.
"So, will we meet tomorrow at the office?" he asked her while watching her wearing her shoes.
"Yeah, sure. Why not?"
He wished he could tell her that she mattered to him and that he wanted to spend some more time with her.
But no. Here was the line.
Being a CEO he could be ruthless to all his employees but this girl...
She had somehow managed to bring out the soft side of him.
In the past, only Ariel could do that. Or Abigail Sinclair.
Thinking of Abigail, he felt like someone had squeezed his heart. Anaya reminded him of her.
"I’m ready," she gave him an over-brightened smile and he had to return that smile. freeweɓnovel.cøm
"See you tomorrow in the office, Anaya," he murmured looking into her big black eyes. Those eyes had the power to accelerate his heartbeat.
"See you, George," they were standing outside the elevator, and she had pressed the call button.
The doors slid open and before Aniya could take a step towards it, he held her by her shoulders and pressed a kiss on her forehead.
Aniya closed her eyes because his lips stayed there longer than necessary.
"Let me know if you need anything," she heard his horse whisper and nodded with a big lump in her throat.
Don’t you dare cry, Aniya. Otherwise, being a gentleman, he won’t let you go.
Thinking of that, she gave him a shaky grin, "Sure."
He had already saved his number on her phone which was odd for her. Wasn’t he getting closer to her because he just found her attractive?
Nothing more nothing less.
He was still standing there, staring at her when the elevator doors closed.

After getting out of the car when Aniya started walking, it had started getting dark.
This time the driver didn’t argue with her and stopped the car where she wanted him to. While walking to her hostel, she looked over her shoulder and found the driver standing near the car. He must have instructions from George to keep an eye on her.
It was so stupid of me to let my tongue slip. What he must be thinking about me? What if he knew Dorian Maxwell? After all, they both are rich and might move in the same circle.
Whatever!
I had a great time with George.
She thought with a smile. When she entered the hostel, she was beaming, and her heart was still fluttering thinking of the time she had spent with him.
Oh, God. Does she know where I was?
No. Now or never.

I was into the story but then the translator who was translating it for whatever language to English stopped translating half the words are half English and another language it's very hard to follow a book when you can't understand what the written word is translators need to do better...
