"If you dare utter another word, Angela," Aniya spat, "I swear I’ll beat you to a pulp. Alex is my real brother, you fu*cker!"
Everyone present in the room was standing still. It seemed like they had somehow forgotten how to breathe, how to speak.
"Wh... what’re you saying?" Ariel stuttered badly.
"Oh, cut the crap!" Angela threw her arms in the air and laughed loudly, "The same bullshit because she resembles Aunt Marissa."
Rafael and Marissa’s eyes were on Aniya. Marissa leaned into Rafael for support, and he was holding her, praying secretly that his legs wouldn’t give up on him.
"I remember everything..." Aniya sobbed, "My hospital visits... the way you all kept an eye on me so that I wouldn’t run around and fall sick..." She was now facing difficulty in breathing, so she sat down on the carpet and held the corner of the center table.
Angela was now looking at her condition, feeling frustrated, "Listen, Anaya," This time, her tone had turned soft, "We know you’re sick... but the problem is... everyone knows all these things you’re telling about Abigail Sinclair."
Aniya raised her tear-streaked face and eyed her parents, who had turned mute, "If that’s the case, then tell me, did you see Abigail’s dead body? Do you want to know who raised me? Valerie? Valerie James and Alaric James are my adoptive parents."
The name of Valerie made Marissa dangerously pale.
"Mom!" Alex ran to her because he had guessed his father wouldn’t be able to handle his wife. He was too engrossed in Aniya’s explanations.
"Mom. Sit here," Alex then turned to Ariel, "Ask someone to bring iced water," Ariel ran to the kitchen to fetch the bottle.
Instead of pouring it into a glass, she brought the bottle and stuck it to Marissa’s lips.
"Here, Mom. Please drink it..." She held her chin gently. Marissa’s eyes stayed on Aniya while taking small sips.
Rafael thought he couldn’t take it anymore and fell back on the couch, "Abi?" he whispered, but no one heard him.
"See!" Angela growled in anger, "What have you done to them? Can you just stop it and leave?"
Aniya shook her head and looked straight into Rafael’s eyes, "I had a tough life in Borington, Daddy," she said while crying, "Valerie didn’t send me to school... I still remember how you used to bring me out of the room late night and serve ice cream because I couldn’t sleep in my bed ..." she trailed off when saw Rafael standing up slowly from the couch.
He turned his head to check on his wife and then took a small step towards her. Tears were cascading down his face and maybe he was having difficulty in walking because everything was almost invisible due to those damn tears.
"Abi?" Marissa asked her, " Are you really my Abi? Th...then why did they say..." She freed herself from Alex’s arms and dropped down on her knees, "My, Abi?" fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm

I was into the story but then the translator who was translating it for whatever language to English stopped translating half the words are half English and another language it's very hard to follow a book when you can't understand what the written word is translators need to do better...
