The sound of breaking porcelain echoed through the room as Gigi's face contorted with rage. "Mom! I'm going to make that bitch Nadine pay for this!"

Evelyn felt a pang of sympathy when she saw Gigi's swollen eyes. She quickly pulled her into a comforting embrace and whispered, "Gigi, don't get so worked up. It's not worth it. Don't let it get to you. Someone will take care of Nadine."

After a moment, she added, "You mentioned there were issues with Nadine's pregnancy timeline. I'll have someone investigate it."

Evelyn had never liked Nadine. Despite Daniel and Adam's affection for her, Evelyn had resisted accepting a woman from humble origins into the Hamilton family.

She had always disapproved of Brad marrying Nadine. As a woman who had given birth herself, she now also questioned the discrepancies in Sean's birthdate, as Gigi had pointed out.
