Sean had never felt such a strong, caring love from his father. As Brad comforted him, Sean clung to his neck, crying hard.
"Daddy, will I be disabled? I don't want to be disabled," Sean asked as he cried. "I still want to go to Snow World with Keira." He held onto Brad tightly, feeling scared and vulnerable.
Brad gently rubbed Sean's back and said, "You won't be disabled. I promise. If you were, Daddy will make sure you get treated and fixed up. You're a brave boy, Sean. Brave boys don't cry over a little pain. You'll be fine."
Brad was trying to calm Sean when he signaled to the specialists. The specialists exchanged quick glances, and one of them acted fast.
Before Sean could react, the doctor gently pulled on his arm, and with a click, the bone was set back in place. Then, the team quickly put on a plaster cast over Sean's arm.
Sean was surprised to see the cast and noticed that the pain wasn't as bad as he expected. He looked at the specialists with a relieved smile and said, "It doesn't hurt anymore!"
"Thank you, doctors!" he added.
The specialists, impressed by how well Sean was handling the situation, patted his head and said, "You're really brave!"
One of them smiled and said, "You really are Mr. Hamilton's child. Like father, like son!"
Seeing Sean smile made Brad feel a huge amount of relief. He gently put Sean back in the bed, told Cameron to stay with him, and went with the specialists to see them out.
