Nadine forced a strained, awkward smile. "Mr. Gomez, thank you for looking after Sean. Everything is fine now. I can stay with him. You should head back and get some rest. You have work tomorrow."

As Brad's personal assistant, Cameron was used to being on call 24/7. Brad was a difficult person to deal with, so Cameron had clearly put in a lot of effort to remain by his side for so long.

Cameron nodded. "Alright, I'll give Mr. Hamilton a ride home.

"By the way, Mrs. Hamilton," Cameron continued, "if I may offer some advice. Please don't use the child's car seat for Sean anymore.

"Kids are naturally restless. When he climbed out of the seat, Mr. Hamilton didn't notice, and he fell. On the way here, Mr. Hamilton was deeply self-reproachful.

"You might not know this, but I've never seen him look so distraught. After the accident, he rushed Sean to the hospital and brought in all the top experts in the city.

"This was just an accident. Mr. Hamilton didn't mean any harm, so there's no need to argue with him." With that, Cameron opened the door and walked out of the ward.

Nadine watched his retreating figure. Only then did she realize that Cameron was speaking up for Brad. What shocked her even more was that Sean's injury wasn't Brad's fault.

When she realized she had misunderstood Brad, she wanted to call Cameron back for clarification. But by the time she reached the hallway, Brad's car had already left.
