Chapter 18
“If you two can reach a divorce agreement, that would be great. If it goes. to the court, it might take a bit longer.”
Rashad slowly raised his eyes and implied, “Of course, if you have evidence of your husband’s infidelity, you could fight for more compensation.”
Evidence?
Felicia chuckled. She didn’t have the energy to fight over these things anymore. As long as the property was divided equally, she and the baby would be well taken care of. She also had her own savings, too.
“Mr. Pineda, thank you, I understand now.”
She was going to see him off, but was stopped by a phone call. When she reached the hallway and saw the constantly flashing name on her phone screen, she decisively cut the call.
Rashad noticed her gaze and glanced at the phone screen with subtle intention. He then smiled. “Ms. Pruitt, please don’t bother. I can see myself out. We can discuss the details of the case online and if you have any further questions, feel free to call me.”
“Alright, thank you, Mr. Pineda. I’ll see you at the law firm next time.”
Rashad raised an eyebrow, surprised by her determination. “Alright, see
you next time.”
After closing the door, Seymour’s phone call came in again.
At this moment, Felicia didn’t feel like answering his call.

She had promised not to get angry during her postpartum period, but she feared answering the call would stir up the anger in her heart.
Seeing that she kept ignoring his calls, he sent a text message. “Felicia, how long are you going to keep this up? Ambi is missing.”
Felicia saw the message, and her heart suddenly tightened.
This was the first time in the past seven days that Felicia dialed Seymour’s number.
The man’s voice was deep and urgent. “Hey, you finally decided to answer the call.”
That day. Mabel took Ambi to the amusement park. After just an hour, he received her frantic call.
“Sey, Ambi, Ambi is missing. I… I was just buying us drinks, and then I couldn’t see him anymore. Sey, what should I do? I’ve looked around with the bodyguards, but I still can’t find him.”
Seymour listened to her sobbing voice crack with tears, but he couldn’t suppress his growing frustration. He stiffened his face and said, “Don’t panic. Go to the service desk at the amusement park and ask for an announcement. Then have the bodyguards keep searching!”
But Mabel was still very panicked. “Alright, alright, I’m going now! Sey, if I can’t find him, I’ll… I’ll give my life for him.”
Seymour felt a headache as he heard something that absurd. “Have the bodyguards go to the service desk. Search the area where Ambi was last seen. I’ll come over immediately!”
He was already on his way, and then he called Felicia. But to his surprise, the woman was still ignoring his calls.
Felicia kept a stern face while listening to him explain.
“Give me the bodyguard’s phone number. I’ll talk to him.”
Seymour frowned. “Aren’t you coming?”
Felicia pursed her lips. “I’m still in confinement. Just send me the number and don’t worry.”
How could he not worry?
Seymour’s eyes flashed with mild anger as he suppressed his frustration. “Felicia, even if you’re throwing a tantrum, there’s a limit! Right now, our son is missing!”
Felicia frowned impatiently. “Seymour Lucero, just send me the bodyguard’s phone number. Forget it, I’ll ask myself!”
By the time he hedged, their son might have already been found.
She had a few numbers of the bodyguards on her phone. Just as she was about to call one to ask who was on duty today, she saw the number Seymour had sent her.
Felicia dialed directly. “Derek, are you at the amusement park in Ralport?”
Derek was thrilled when he saw Felicia’s call. As soon as he discovered that Ambrose was missing, he had been silently thinking how great it would be if Felicia were here.
