Revenge on My Scheming Sister (Felicia) novel Chapter 17

Chapter 17

Sey, Felicia is still in her confinement and feeling down. You’re busy, too. When Ambi visited me last time, he said he wanted to go to the amusement park. Since I have no plans this weekend, so I can take him there.

Seymour paused. Just earlier, the little guy had been sulking with him.

He wondered if his eyes were still swollen from crying.

Seymour had a cold nature, but Ambi was his son.

Thinking back to the heavy burdens of his childhood, he didn’t want his son to experience the same thing. He nodded. Alright, then, thanks, Mable. After you two are done, I’ll come pick you up for dinner.

That was exactly what Mabel had been waiting for!

She smiled. Alright, Sey, tell Ambi to be ready at 9 am on Sunday, and I’ll come pick him up.

After hanging up, Seymour stood up and went to the bathroom to get changed.

His clothes still smelled of smoke, and it wouldn’t be good for the child.

He changed into his loungewear and walked to Ambrose’s room. Ambi, it’s Daddy.

He turned the doorknob twice, but it was locked from the inside.

He helplessly tugged at his lips. Women and children were truly the most difficult creatures to understand.

Ambi, Daddy will wait for you for one minute. If you don’t open the door after that, the amusement park plan with Auntie Mabel will be canceled.

Ambrose then rushed over and hurried to open the door. He looked down and saw his son with red eyes and a bright smile. Alright, it’s just a little punishment. Is it worth crying this much?

Ambrose pouted, deciding to forgive his dad for the moment. Dad, is Auntie really going to take me to the amusement park the day after tomorrow?

Yeah. 9 am the day after tomorrow. If you miss the time, you’ll have to stay home and do homework.

The little one wiped his tears away and smiled. No way! I won’t be late!

He knew he usually slept in, but that wasn’t the case the day after tomorrow. The amusement park was enough to make him wake up on

time.

Last time, Darrick mentioned introducing a lawyer. She didn’t decline. The lawyer had just returned from abroad, so they arranged to meet on Sunday.

Since she was still in her confinement period and couldn’t go out, she decided to meet the lawyer at home.

At exactly 10 o’clock, the doorbell rang.

Felicia stood up to answer the door. A man in a sharp suit showed up. With a refined face and clear eyes, he smiled faintly. Hello, are you Ms. Pruitt? Mr. Jackson sent me.

Hello, I’m Felicia. Please come in, Mr. Pineda.

Rashad Pineda nodded slightly and, before entering, put on shoe covers

and a mask

da

Felicia was surprised by his actions Mr. Pineda, what is this for?

Under the black mask, only his distinct eyes were visible. His brows lifted slightly. Mr. Jackson mentioned you had just had a baby, and you might still be in confinement. I didn’t wear it before to avoid being impolite. Aller greeting you, it’s better to wear it for your and the baby’s health.

Felicia didn’t expect Rashad to be so considerate.

What a contrast! Her husband and her family members never cared as much as even a stranger.

How rich!

She snapped out of it and invited Rashad in.
