Chapter 314
Jessica Instinctively wanted to pull away. They were standing inexplicably close for no apparent reason. But when selling glanced back at hann, Li focus was entirely on their surroundings, as if he paid no head to how close they were
Jessica felt like she’d swallowed a bitter pill with no way to explain. Since he didn’t even cale about how close they were, it would teams as it ate marke fuss if she pushed him away. Moreover, someone was indeed approaching. The slightest sound might alert therm
The approaching figure moved with astonishing agility, its steps almost weightless. After hesitating for a moment, Jessica finally stopped strogging. She turned back and, together with Leon, fixed her gaze on the dense forest ahead.
Little did Jessica know, while she was focused on observing the enemy, Leon had lowered his deep, dark eyes, and in them was reflected nothing but Jessica’s fair profile and her graceful figure.
Leon couldn’t hold back anymore. With their bodies pressed so close together, he could feel every yielding curve of her body against hrs.
Her subtle fragrance filled his senses as his hand encircled her impossibly soft, slender waist, so small it fit perfectly in his palm, so delicate it seemed in might break at the slightest touch.
Leon wondered if she could ever truly endure him with such delicate fragility. He furrowed his brow deeply. Despite the cool air around, beads of sweat slowly trickled down his temples.
Leon was burning up. He had been burning up like crazy lately. ‘It feels like there’s a beast deep inside me, one I never even knew existed. Lately, it’s grown wild and fierce, always on the verge of breaking free, roaring and raging just beneath my skin!‘
Little did Jessica know, while she was focused on their enemy, Leon was lost in a thousand twisted fantasies.
‘They’re here!‘ Jessica thought. Two shadowy figures dropped from above.
Jessica was too far away to hear what Lucy was saying to them. All she could see was the two men starting to take Lucy away. Jessica didn’t immediately give chase. After all, the two men seemed far more skilled in martial arts than Lucy.
Though Lucy had been walking outside for over an hour, and the medicinal scent clinging to her was gradually fading, Jessica could still detect it.
This was her only chance to track down Lucy’s boss, and those men must be his underlings. Hence, Jessica decided to hold back, not wanting to alert her
quarry.
But to her surprise, as she waited, the man behind her suddenly leaned heavily against her shoulder, his body burning up. “Leon?” Jessica felt something was off about him. “You…”
“Jessica, when will you marry me? I can’t wait any longer.” He burned with the urge to devour her whole, to claim every inch of her as his own.
Leon used to scorn men ruled by lust, dismissing them as weak–willed and aimless. But at that moment, it was ironic. Desire was human nature, after all.
Ever since returning to Capitalia, the once ascetic young man who had lived only for blood–soaked battles in service of his country found his mind filled with nothing but carnal hunger.
Leon longed to pull her close, press her beneath him, feel the barriers between them melt, and wrap her completely in his embrace. To feel her delicate form trembling in his arms, hearing her cries of pleasure, and watching her go wild was his ultimate goal.
“Leon? Leon!” Jessica shoved him hard,
She’d called his name repeatedly, yet he still held her waist in a vice–like grip, his face flushed and his breath ragged, completely oblivious to her words.
‘Damn him, what indecent thoughts he has now?‘ Jessica fumed inwardly.
