Jessica and Leon scouted inside without alerting anyone. They roughly mapped I out the cave’s layout after taking a round of walks.

Hiding in the dark, Jessica took Leon’s hand and wrote in his palm, “Markus. Encircle.” However, they could not take down everyone here with just two of them. They had to call in the troops.

‘The thunder grenade is too dangerous, and we must destroy this stronghold,‘ Leon thought.

“Are you going back?” Jessica asked.

“That man… looks like someone from my mother’s clan. I must go and investigate,” Leon said, gazing at her. “Trust me. I’ll come back safely.”

Jessica was moved. ‘If this man truly belongs to Consort Thalia’s clan and falls into the hands of rival princes, it would be troublesome. Consort Thalia and Prince Leon might very well face fabricated charges.

Jessica bit her lower lip. Without hesitation, she followed the hidden vines beside her and effortlessly climbed up the cliff. As expected, just as she reached the mountaintop, she spotted Magnus and Shawn.

Seeing the black–robed, masked figure approaching, Shawn instantly struck out with a palm. Jessica casually parried the strike and called out, “Shawn,

it’s me! Jessica!”

‘It’s Ms. Yates!‘ Shawn was startled and immediately withdrew the strength gathered in his palm.

However, Jessica had already struck. The force of the palm hit Shawn head–on. Shawn, who had already withdrawn his move, could not dodge in time. With a loud smack, he was sent crashing onto the ground.
