After Surviving the Apocalypse, I Built a City in Another World novel Chapter 1336

Chapter 1336: Finally Over

Somehow, Feller's extreme fire didn't seem to have much effect at all. At best, the ground around Garan was a little wet, likely because he covered himself with ice melted down by the fire that used up Feller's remaining mana!

Similarly, all of Vara's spikes were at the side, nary a drop of blood!

"Impossible!" Feller yelled. This is below level 30?!

How!? How was it that there was no damage at all!

This definitely had to do with the extreme quality of the element, but neither of them had heard of anything like it—at least not with such level discrepancy! Even those tools they had heard of shouldn't have an effect like this!

Even those with superior elements should not be so immune to the attacks of elementalists, especially not ones with a much higher level!

"No… this is not possible," Feller said, in denial. His eyes fixed on the pool underneath Garan though. "No, the ice melted! So I can continue doing it!"

"He hasn't moved yet either," Vara said. "It must be his limitation!"

He looked at Garan's eyes, which seemed to be blank. His eyes seemed to have an unnatural luminescence, but at the same time, it gave the impression that no thought was running.

Vara's eyes were already red by this time and he didn't have the time to gape like Feller did. Metal elements consumed more mana than others, but now he had to push himself beyond his limits.

Similarly, Feller gulped down his remaining mana potion, and the two of them headed straight at him for their final attacks.

Before this war, neither one thought they'd ever team up with the other at all. It was humiliating, but they comforted themselves by convincing themselves that Garan did something unnatural, and they had something to gain from this fight!

The two barraged him with their skills, some of which they hadn't used in a while.

BANG!

SLAM!

BOOM!

They noticed how the ice he created to shield himself would crack at a single one of their specialized shots. This made them think that if they moved fast enough, they'd be able to break through, hopefully causing the man's entire defense to crumble down.

Vara quickly created a large metal spike originating from below Garan, with Ferrel once again unleashing higher-temperature fire straight at Garan.

This combination finally made Garan move from his spot, their barrage putting him on the defense.

It seemed like Vara's theory—that Garan staying still had a lot to do with the power he could summon at a time—was correct.

This gave them some confidence—something they desperately needed.

"I will kill you! And then your woman!" Vara screamed as he laughed, thinking of how he'd get this man's power and that woman as well. 1

However, a sudden force came out of Garan's body, and suddenly sharp spikes of ice appeared all over, some of which from the interior of the sphere, skewering the two. freewebnσvel.cøm

"Khhh—khhhhk—"

The two's eyes were wide as they felt several ice spears go through their remaining defenses, skewering them both from different angles. The worst was a spike throw Vara's neck, and the spike that passed between Feller's spine.

When the two men fell, an announcement resounded in Althea's head at the same time.

[Congratulations ! Alterra Town (Lv1) has defeated Basset Town (Lv1!)]

[Gained! 52100 Population]

[Gained 11211 Gold, 213200 Silver, 923991 Copper]

Althea barely even noticed this. Her eyes were fixed at the large sphere that slowly started to show cracks.

Skreee

Chrrk

Crack!
