Perhaps Sabrina's words at the hospital had taken effect—Jordan and Ansel didn't bother her anymore. She couldn't care less about them, anyway. Her and Sebastian's wedding was her priority.

This was the only actual wedding she would have, so she gave it her all. Fringo's renowned wedding gown designers were invited to the Lakeworth residence to design her wedding gown. They discussed the style and material for the gown and veil for a whole afternoon.

Sebastian massaged her waist when he saw her yawn. "Are you tired?"

She smiled. "A little."

Preparing for the wedding was tiring, but she was happier than ever. After all, she had the two people who loved her the most by her side.

On Sunday, Sebastian and Sabrina took Isabel along with them to a jeweler to get their new wedding bands designed. At the same time, they ordered a bracelet for Isabel as a wedding gift.

The weather was nice, so they didn't drive. Instead, they strolled along the streets. They were chatting and laughing when Sabrina's smile suddenly disappeared. Sebastian followed her line of sight to see Jordan and Ansel on the other side of the road.

Jordan had brought Ansel out to enjoy the sunlight per the doctor's instructions. The father and son had wandered from the original location, perhaps because the scenery was too nice to ignore. Just like that, they bumped into Sabrina, Sebastian, and Isabel.

"Rina…"

"Mom…"

Jordan and Ansel looked at Sabrina, their gazes filled with love and their voices filled with remorse. She didn't even spare them a glance as she turned to leave.

Just then, an accident happened. A car sped toward them after losing control. It headed straight for Sabrina but changed direction at the last minute and veered toward Isabel.

Sabrina's heart leaped to her throat as she shoved Sebastian and Isabel away. "Watch out!"

The trio fell to the ground together as Jordan and Ansel watched. They saw Sabrina shoot past them and toward Sebastian and Isabel. They snapped to their senses and avoided the car but were still a little banged up.

Meanwhile, Sabrina checked Isabel anxiously, only turning to Sebastian when she was sure Isabel was fine. "Are you okay?"

He nodded, lifting Isabel with one arm and pulling Sabrina up with the other. He checked on her, too. "How about you? Are you injured?"
