Later that evening, at Sterling Residences, Samantha hurried to her room, and as she brushed her hair, she brought a handful of strands to her nose.

The strong smell of barbecue lingered. She had to hurry and shower.

"Leonardo, good night."

"Good… night?"

Leonardo's deep gaze followed her as she walked away, like a hunting wolf watching its prey. Tonight, it seemed, she wouldn't be getting any peace.

Samantha opened the door to her room and found it completely empty. She was surprised.

She immediately turned to complain to Leonardo. "Leonardo! I think we've been robbed!"

He walked over to her, took a glance at the empty room, and showed no sympathy. "The security here is too tight for any thief to get in."

"Where's my bed then? And my vanity? And…"
