Chione arrived backstage with a classmate and their instructors. Their steps faltered at the sight of the figure near the entrance.
"Is that Mr. Garrett?"
"I didn't expect to see him here!"
"He's so handsome. The CEOs in the dramas could never match his presence."
Leonardo stood there, dressed in a suit and polished shoes. His cold, commanding presence created a clear separation between him and everything around him. People came and went, yet he stood out, drawing all the attention.
The staff member ushered Leonardo into the venue. As they followed his gaze, they noticed it was directed toward the entrance of the backstage. Just then, Samantha happened to walk in from that direction.
Maria's eyes widened in shock. "Samantha?"
Samantha, still thinking over the points the coach had just emphasized, hadn't noticed the group in front of her until now. It was only then that she snapped back to reality.
"Hello."
Maria, still in disbelief, asked, "So you really made it to the finals?"
"Of course," Samantha replied with a smile.
Maria felt a twinge of guilt. "I'm sorry. Since the organizers didn't notify us, we could only confirm things based on the information you gave us. At that time, everyone thought you were joking, and I didn't take it seriously."
"It's okay. I'll head backstage to prepare," Samantha replied.
"All right."
Samantha's smile vanished as she walked past them with a cold expression. There was no use discussing this now; focusing on the competition was what mattered most.
