She brought her coffee cup from the kitchen and sat beside him. His arm was spontaneously snaked around her shoulders, pulling her to him.
He had already finished his coffee and was now eyeing her cup, "Don’t even think about it!" she said between her clenched teeth not wanting to be loud for Sophie’s sake.
"Sharing is caring! Last time when I checked we were friends," he squeezed her into him.
"Yeah. Friends with benefits!" the words were out before she could stop herself. freēwēbηovel.c૦m
He moved his face closer to examine her face with mischief evident in his eyes. With one hand, she balanced her cup, and the other palm was on his face to push him away.
He turned his face sideways but didn’t budge away.
"Say it again!" there was laughter in his voice.
She tried to act naïve, "Say what again?"
"The thing you just said... about our friendship."
"Nothing. It was an honest mistake," She stuck out her tongue making him chuckle.
"You were talking about some benefits. Care to explain what those are?"
"Nah! Shut up!" she took a chug from her cup and fluttered her lashes above the rim.
He rested his elbow on the backrest and placed his fist under his chin. She could sense his eyes on her face but tried to appear indifferent.
She didn’t know what was so interesting on her face. Maybe she had developed a rash overnight.
"Is there a mole on my face? Or have I developed a pimple?" she asked him when his eyes didn’t seem to shift.
He asked with a frown, "Why?"
"Then look somewhere else, dude," she took another sip of her coffee. With a playful smile at the corners of his mouth, he took the cup from her hand and drank the last sip of her coffee.
"Rafael!" she protested. He placed the cup down and held her waist yanking her over his lap,
"What!" he kissed her chin softly, "Do you know why I’m here?" he smirked when she shook her head, "I’m here because you said you missed me too," he murmured, "When we both miss each other, shouldn’t we stay together?"
Marissa’s heart thumped in her chest.
Just a few minutes back, she wanted his company and now when he was here, she couldn’t come up with anything.
In nervousness, she tucked her hair behind her ear, "I-It was just ... a response to ... your text. You miss me... so thought to say... I miss you too... nothing serious about it." She shrugged but couldn’t hide the blush.
"Oh yeah. Just a response? Fine. Let me check!" she wanted to ask how but then giggled when found him leaning forward very slowly.
She knew he was going to kiss her and thought of closing her eyes when instead of the kiss, his tongue came out of his mouth and licked her lips.
"You taste so good," those magical green eyes dipped to her lips.

I was into the story but then the translator who was translating it for whatever language to English stopped translating half the words are half English and another language it's very hard to follow a book when you can't understand what the written word is translators need to do better...
