Seven years had passed since Shane touched Nina. She kept waiting for him to come closer, but he didn’t make a move. fɾeeweɓnѳveɭ.com
Once she also mixed a pill in his drink to let him sleep accidentally in her bed, but his bodyguards reached on time and took him back to his room.
The incident made Nina quite frustrated. She couldn’t imagine that a man could hire bodyguards to keep himself safe from his wife.
But she saw that Shane stayed on his word and didn’t let her touch him or didn’t initiate any move to make love to her, so Nina gave up.
She started sleeping around. Shane’s only condition was to keep it secret and not to get pregnant. If she defied those rules, then she would lose the right of being Mrs. Sinclair.
Nina couldn’t suppress her needs for long, so she decided to play the same game. Though she badly wanted a baby but then baby-making also required Shane’s participation. She gave up on the idea completely.
For the last seven years, Gabriel also had been trying to approach her on different occasions. Nina slept with handsome men, ugly men, rich men, and neighbors. But Gabriel never got a chance to come back to Nina’s bed.
At every party, at every gathering, he was always chasing after her. He just wanted her to listen to him, but Nina never paid him any attention. She stated acting like he had turned invisible.
Naila stayed the same.
They always met at parties and greeted each other cordially. Naila could see how her husband had started admiring Nina so openly. But she never made it an issue.
Nina was finally done with Gabriel’s games. She didn’t want to trust this man. The man she trusted with her heart, wasn’t into her anymore.
In the eyes of society, she was still Shane’s wife, but he didn’t love her anymore.
In the parties where Shane was required to take her as his plus one, he often went alone. He never truly cared about the gossip of other business competitors.
There was this one party where Nina was invited too so there Shane was bound to take her.
Wearing a champagne-colored dress, Nina entered the venue by Shane’s side. Everyone welcomed her warmly and no one dared to ask her any questions about her absence from the events.
There were already rumors making the rounds that they were living with each other as hostel mates, not spouses.
Nina enjoyed the party and had the best time of her life. It was getting late, and the guests started leaving gradually. Nina looked for Shane, but he was nowhere to be around.
"Have you seen, Mr. Shane Sinclair?" she asked a waiter who shook his head in denial.
Where has he gone? She thought to herself.
"Looking for your husband, princess?" the familiar voice spoke behind her and Nina had to close her eyes in frustration.
As always. It was Gabriel.
With a bored look, she turned around slowly to face the man who left her at the council office and never returned. He never offered any explanations too.
Later she blocked him everywhere making his entrance into her life more difficult.
"Are you talking to me, mister?" she asked him, her tone dripping with irony. Gabriel started scratching the nape of his neck, clearly uncomfortable.
"So, you’re mad!" he said with a grin, but Nina ignored him. Was that the only thing he had to say?
You’re mad?
He wasn’t in the mood to walk away so Nina decided to take the lead. She had barely taken a step when he spoke behind her.
"Let’s go somewhere after this party, Nina!" Nina squeezed her eyes shut and clamped her lips together.
How to tell this man to fu*ck off?

I was into the story but then the translator who was translating it for whatever language to English stopped translating half the words are half English and another language it's very hard to follow a book when you can't understand what the written word is translators need to do better...
