Nina’s face twisted with rage. She wanted to lunge at Valerie, to scream at her, to wipe that smug smile off her face. But the thick glass partition and the two guards by the door made it next to impossible.
Valerie picked up her purse in style and slung it over her shoulder. There was calmness on her face and pride in her smile.
"Enjoy your stay, Nina. Oh, and don’t bother asking for updates on Abi or Rafael, or Marissa. You’re out of their lives for good."
With that she walked out of the room, her heels clicking against the floor.
Nina sat frozen, her breathing ragged. She could feel her fury boiling over her senses, "You’ll regret this, Valerie," she whispered to herself, her voice trembling with hatred, "You’ll regret this!"

As parents, Marissa and Rafael also needed to visit home due to Alex and Ariel. Sophia was also taking care of the kids along with Flint and Joseph.
Twenty-four hours had already passed, and Abigail still hadn’t gotten her consciousness back. Dr. Sanders was still positive about the way her internal organs were getting back to normal.
"She will soon open her eyes, Mrs. Sinclair. Just give her some more time."
Marissa and Rafael stayed by her bed most of the time. This time Dean was the one who dragged them one by one to eat something.
Marissa did give up but Rafael snubbed Dean rudely. He now wanted to talk to his daughter once she would wake up.
"Rafael Sinclair. Eat something. Look at your wife," Rafael slowly looked at his face and then whispered.
"I know how to take care of my family. Stop dictating me," Dean wanted to clear his stance, but Rafael didn’t give him the chance, "Since when I became Rafael for you? Wasn’t it Mr. Rafael before I went missing?"
Dean wanted to roll his eyes. Mr. Sinclair’s daughter had surgery, and he was still stuck with the name war. Whether he wanted it with Mister or not?
He cleared his throat and took his mouth near Rafael’s ear, "That’s what I’m trying to tell you, Mister Rafael Sinclair. Eat or your wife might decide to accompany me to the hospital café on your behalf. And you won’t like it!"
Rafael again eyed the face of his secretary who had somehow become a buddy to his wife. He turned back his focus to his daughter without giving much response to Dean.
But then he was taken by surprise when Dean openly offered Marissa to visit the café with him, "Marissa. Let’s have that Vanilla frappe together. Abigail might want you to enjoy that."
Marissa stretched tiredly and nodded her head, "Good idea. Let’s go!"
Rafael abruptly got to his feet, "You stay here, honey. Let me go and eat something. I’ll bring a Vanilla frappe for you."
With a confused face, Marissa nodded and sat back in her seat. Dean was trying his best to hide the smile. He also sat on a nearby chair when Rafael gave him that mocked look, "Get your ass moving, Dean."

I was into the story but then the translator who was translating it for whatever language to English stopped translating half the words are half English and another language it's very hard to follow a book when you can't understand what the written word is translators need to do better...
