And she did. Aniya James did stay.
She spent that weekend with him, at his penthouse. They watched movies and took walks in the private garden owned by the apartment residents. Anyone hardly visited it.
"Tomorrow is a workday, so I should get going," she reminded him jokingly on Sunday morning after breakfast. This time it got easier for her because he had arranged some clothes in her size, including a pair of denim pants, T-shirts, undergarments, skirts, and sleepwear.
Right now, she was wearing an Olive color t-shirt along with denim shorts.
"Why did you buy all these clothes?" she said looking down at her shorts, "You didn’t need to do it. I wasn’t stealing your t-shirts!" she said with a teasing grin and winked.
"Then maybe move your stuff here," he suggested to her with a shrug. Aniya still couldn’t afford to buy enough clothes right now.
"I don’t have enough to keep here and the hostel at the same time, George. I’ll eventually have to carry it back to the hostel," she tried to make him understand.
It wasn’t possible to move with all her belongings back and forth to the hostel.
Something was different about the way he was looking at her.
"What?" she asked him with a chuckle, his eyes were still glued to her face.
"I’m asking you to bring ALL your stuff to my place," he said with a meaningful smile and started playing with his watch, trying to act nonchalant.
Was he nervous?
But why would he expect her to bring all her stuff here?
Oh God!
Her eyes darted to his face in shock.
"Do you mean to say..." she trailed off, trying to figure out if this was what she thought.
He nodded, his hands sliding under her legs to pick her up before settling her on his lap, "That’s exactly what I mean, Anaya. Move in with me."

Aniya had placed her clothes in the washing machine and was now pouring in the washing powder.
She returned to the hostel before the evening, but her mind kept wandering over his words. Was he serious?
She had always seen this relationship as a fleeting attraction ... something they both needed to get out of their system before moving on.
But George seemed kinda serious about it. Aniya didn’t want to lie but she was falling for him. It was not good to stay with him when ultimately, they both would be on their way after all of this would be over.
Now George had asked her to move in with him. Like her, was he also getting serious about this relationship?
They had class differences, education differences... and many other differences. They were poles apart. Then why was he taking it ahead?
"Hey, sleeping beauty! Wake up!" Olivia snapped her fingers in front of her face, "Still thinking about your guy? When are you making us meet him?" she asked her fondly.
Her amazing friends never tried to poke their noses in her affairs but now they wanted to meet him.
Aniya was scared.
How would she introduce them?
Hey! Meet your boss, George Donovan. He’s the one I’m sleeping with.

I was into the story but then the translator who was translating it for whatever language to English stopped translating half the words are half English and another language it's very hard to follow a book when you can't understand what the written word is translators need to do better...
