Chapter 190
Miles‘ words didn’t just show Margot not the slightest respect—he publicly humiliated her. The atmosphere instantly froze over Even the music stopped. The entire place, from the stage to the audience, fell into stunned silence as guests craned their necks, eager to catch every detail.
After being publicly humiliated by Miles, Margot was totally irritated, her chest heaving violently with rage She boomed in a thunderous voice, “1414s I’m your grandaunt your grandmother’s cousin. How dare you speak to me like this?”
“This is the Hartwick family’s stance,” Miles said coldly, frowning. “If you people hadn’t kept harassing us so frequently, and if you weren’t my grandmother’s cousin, I wouldn’t even have been here. Just changing Griffin’s surname doesn’t make him a Hartwick.
“You Dawson people have truly abandoned all sense of shame. From now on, no With that, Miles turned and strode away without a second glance.
from the Dawson family is welcome–including you, Mrs. Dawson
“Miles. Miles!” No matter how desperately Margot called after him, he never once looked back, striding steadily out of the Dawson residence
The Dawson family’s lavish wedding instantly became a spectacular debacle. Hilda Dawson, Zachary’s father, rushed after Miles, while Margot shot a venomous glare at Miles‘ back, grinding her teeth so hard that it seemed she might shatter them, her face twitching with rage.
The bride and groom on stage, along with Griffin’s parents, stood frozen in confusion. The emcee forced an awkward smile, utterly at a loss as to whether the ceremony should proceed.
Finally, Margot suppressed her anger and commanded, “The wedding shall proceed.” With so many guests already here, she had no choice.
The emcee immediately mustered all his skills, trying to liven up the mood on stage. But when he looked out and saw faces that looked like they were at a funeral, he nearly broke down.
‘Is my career going to end here?‘ he thought in despair.
Dorian, feeling a bit bored in the audience, leaned over to Sophia and whispered, “Sophia, when are we getting out of here?”
Sophia arched a brow and gestured toward the stage. “Let’s stay for the show,” she said with a sly smile.
Dorian perked up instantly. “More juicy drama coming? Awesome.”
Even Hallam, sitting just one seat away, couldn’t hide the gleam of curiosity in his eyes. Jane gave his arm a gentle pinch and whispered, “Come on, you’re in your forties–act your age.”
Hallam immediately straightened up, putting on a show of seriousness, but couldn’t help focusing
on
hearing what Sophia would say.
Not only Hallam–every guest seated near Sophia was the same. No one cared about what was happening on stage anymore; all their attention was now excited about finding out what kind of “show” Sophia had hinted at.
Charlotte looked at her curiously. “Sophia?”
Sophia grinned. “Charlotte, trust me—after today, Melody won’t dare show her face around you again.” No sooner had she finished speaking than a commotion broke out at the entrance. The corners of Sophia’s lips curled up. “Showtime.”
Hearing the commotion, all the guests turned toward the entrance, where a girl dressed as a waitress suddenly burst in.
Pointing at Melody on the stage, she shouted hoarsely, her voice echoing through the hall. “Melody is the daughter of a mistress. Her parents killed my mother–they’re murderers.”
The revelation was a bombshell. Dorian, the gossip king, was visibly stunned. “Whoa!”
“Now that’s some juicy drama.” Hallam couldn’t help but chime in. When all eyes turned to him, he just grinned sheepishly, trying to play it off.
Already sullen, Melody stood on stage, her face instantly turning deathly pale the moment she saw the girl before her.

Chapter 190
Margot, already livid, barked out, “Guards, throw this wedding crasher out immediately!” As Margot’s words fell, the Dawson family’s bodyguards gave chase. Spotting them, the girl bolted into the crowd of guests.
A noblewoman, used as a human shield by the girl, let out a piercing scream. Agilely, the girl dodged through the packed crowd, leaving the bodyguards helpless.
The already humiliating wedding descended into utter pandemonium as she fled wildly, guests stumbling over each other in the chass
While desperately dodging the bodyguards, the girl shouted, “Mrs. Dawson, is the Dawson family really going to welcome a murderer’s daughter into your home? I am Hyder Kensington’s legitimate daughter.
“Hyder secretly took out a massive accident insurance policy on my mother, and then colluded with his mistress to murder her. Now, they’re using my mother’s insurance payout to live happily ever after with his mistress and their love child.
“I came here today to expose their true faces. Mrs. Dawson, are you being deceived by Hyder, or are you trying to cover up for your in–laws?” Her words struck like a dagger straight to Margot’s heart.
Melody’s heart pounded with panic. Seeing the situation spiraling out of control, she blurted out, “I don’t even know you. You’re spreading malicious rumors–I’ll sue you for defamation.” She tried to sound firm and resolute, but her voice wavered weakly, betraying her lack of conviction.
Susan burst into mocking laughter, pointing at Hyder and his wife, who were cowering with guilt. “Sue me for defamation?” she jeered. “Maybe you should ask them if I am lying or not.”
