Brooklyn had invited Cindy O'Connell, a wealthy heiress whose family owned hotels, for dinner to meet his parents. They wanted to make a good first impression.
The family waited anxiously. As dinnertime approached with no sign of Cindy, Brooklyn's phone buzzed.
[My Beloved Cindy: You're such a jerk. We're done]
Confused by the brief message, Brooklyn replied, only to find he was already blocked.
Desiree complained, "What's going on? The food's getting cold. Is she coming or not? She's already acting like a diva. I'll put her in her place when she gets here."
Brooklyn looked devastated. "Mom, Cindy suddenly broke up with me."
"Good riddance. She's not a princess. You're too good for her anyway. We can find someone better."
Brooklyn agreed.
As the family prepared to eat, they heard a commotion outside. Suddenly, dozens of tall men in black suits entered the apartment, creating an intimidating atmosphere.
Desiree was frightened and shouted, "What are you doing? You're breaking into private property!"
"We're Ms. Lawson's security team. We're here to take out the trash on her orders."
Hearing Adora's name, Brooklyn scoffed. "What game is she playing now?"
"Ms. Lawson said she'll regard the past two years as community service. To prevent you from using her gifts to harm other girls, she's decided to ruin them completely."
At a signal from the lead bodyguard, the team swarmed through the apartment. They not only smashed the expensive watch Adora had given Brooklyn but also tore up the designer suits and custom shoes she bought him.
Even the dishes Adora had purchased were shattered, and not a single bottle of drink was left for the Glover family.
Brooklyn's parents tried to intervene, and Brooklyn's face turned purple with rage.
He shouted, "Stop this! I'm calling the police!"

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
