Meanwhile, Sebastian looked up at the villa that was supposed to belong to the Lakeworth family. He soon got used to it when he realized it wasn't too different from the one in reality.
He wrapped his arms around Sabrina as they looked out at the garden full of roses and said, "The invitations for next week's banquet have been sent out. The Fausts should have received theirs by now."
Sabrina accepted a bouquet of red roses from one of the maids. She smiled gently and said, "Looks like there's going to be a lot of fun soon."
Her gaze flickered briefly when she thought about how Jordan had slept with Holly behind her back. They hadn't acted intimately to her face. She'd only managed to catch them together twice, yet that had already been enough to torment her.
She couldn't imagine how much pain she would've been in if they'd been lovey-dovey to her face. It looked like this was the perfect chance to give Jordan a taste of his own medicine—she wanted him to know how he'd tormented her in the past.
…
Though there were people in charge of every detail of the banquet, Sabrina still wanted to pick out her gown and accessories for the big day. So, the family of three made their way to Rivali Street. More than half of the stores there belonged to the Lakeworth family.
They entered a random store and were led to a private room reserved for them, where tea and desserts were served. Models displayed the evening gowns for them, and a server showed Sabrina the exclusive jewelry sets available in the store.
There were so many varieties and designs that she didn't know where to start looking. If not for the banquet being such a last-minute affair, she was sure Sebastian would've had someone design a few evening gowns for her.
Then again, any evening gown she selected would immediately be removed from all stores worldwide, despite them being brand new. They would no longer be produced.
In the end, Sabrina picked a dark green evening gown with pearls embroidered on it. Her accessories matched it perfectly.
Sebastian and Isabel had their breaths taken away when the curtains were drawn to reveal her in her full glory.
