Samantha's brief reply had Leonardo cracking up. Even though she was awake, she refused to back down.
He told her, "It's snowing, sweetheart."
Wrapped up in her blanket, Samantha shifted and finally opened her eyes. The blanket slipped down a little, revealing her smooth shoulder with the hickey from Leonardo.
He was clingy and rough like a dog, leaving marks all over her.
Samantha didn't want anyone to notice. If she didn't explain it right, she was worried that people might think she was being abused.
She snuggled into the blanket and looked out the window, watching the fluffy snowflakes fall. After a night of it, the city was blanketed in snow, looking stunning.
Leonardo remarked, "This is the first snow of the year in Jedo."
Jedo snowed a lot because it was in the north, but the first snow was always something special.
Samantha echoed. "Yes. It's pretty."
"How about going outside to check it out?" he asked.
She nodded but didn't move. Instead, she just fixed her gaze on Leonardo.
He suddenly blurted out, "Do you need help getting dressed?"
She muttered, "Can you step out for a second?"
"I've already seen every inch of you," he teased.
Dropping to one knee on the bed, Leonardo leaned closer and gently held Samantha's neck before kissing her shoulder. "Did you already forget about that? Do I need to remind you again?"
Her face turned beet red right away. He knew exactly how to get to her.
Samantha shrank back, holding onto Leonardo's blazer. "I still need to go to school today."
Leonardo complained, "Just take a leave."
She responded, "I want the best student award."
