Leonardo held a figurehead position in the Garrett Group, but he didn't care what was happening there. He merely ignored Adrian's words and returned to adjusting the blanket over Samantha, ensuring that she wouldn't be cold.

A faint voice came from the phone. "Are you listening, Leo?"

After he was done with what he was doing, Leonardo grabbed his phone and left the office. "I'm not coming."

Adrian had been blabbering on the phone, yet that was the response he received. As expected, he was immediately furious.

"I'm telling you, not asking, Leonardo! We've put up with your nonsense all these years, but this meeting is about Redwood Mall setting up in Mariton."

Leonardo nonchalantly replied, "I see, but I'm not interested."

Leonardo calmly responded, "You probably know this better, Grandpa. Is Redwood Mall in need of Evergreen Corporation, or is it the other way around?

"Many of the well-established malls heard about Evergreen Corporation's interest in entering Mariton's market and reached out to me with offers of the prime spots. Looks like my company is quite popular in Mariton as well."

Adrian was visibly upset because Leonardo didn't hold back at all. Then again, that was the truth, though.
