Married First, Loved Later : A Flash Marriage with My Ex's 'Uncle' novel Chapter 334

Chapter 334: A Truth on the Verge of Exposure

The female manager at the side looked visibly annoyed—this was Star, for crying out loud. If Mrs. Perry had the right to be here, why the hell wouldn’t Star?

But Selina merely lifted her hand, signaling the manager to stay quiet, then turned to Mrs. Perry with a bright, polite smile.

"Mrs. Perry, your house is practically on fire, and you still care whether I belong here?"

"You—" Mrs. Perry gritted her teeth, barely keeping it together. "Wretched thing! Where the hell are Rowan and Logan?! I’m going to give Logan a piece of my mind! What, is the Perry Family starving him? Denying him clothes? How dare he do this to his own family!?"

Selina’s expression didn’t change. "Mrs. Perry, you still haven’t answered my question—those product issues, you said they were Logan’s fault?"

"They absolutely were! Those bags—"

"But Logan was never allowed to touch Perry Family business."

Selina paused briefly, her tone casual. "Everyone knows Owen was always the favorite. Logan has no shares, no power, no say in Perry Group. So how exactly could he interfere in your operations?"

Mrs. Perry’s face twisted in rage. "Are you accusing me of lying—"

"Oh, are you saying Rowan and Logan conspired to sabotage the Perry Family? Mrs. Perry, maybe you’ve overestimated your importance. Ever since the matriarch stopped overseeing Perry Family business, your entire empire has gone downhill. What’s there for Rowan to even bother scheming over?"

The manager nodded silently.

Exactly—Rowan’s status was far above this. Picking a fight with the Perry Family? That’s giving them way too much credit.

Everyone had heard what happened: Perry Group’s handbag line had several pieces that were identical to designs Rowan released three years ago. After Rowan’s lawyers filed a suit, the Perrys actually claimed that Mr. Reid had given them the designs and framed them on purpose.

They even said Mr. Reid and Rowan were friends and had colluded to take down the Perry Family.

What a joke.

Mrs. Perry’s face turned a deep red. "You—you—!"

The truth was, she hadn’t lied—the designs were stolen from Logan. But what was she supposed to do, admit it? Damn it. Things had gone smoothly before, so why the hell did it blow up now?

Logan was supposed to be the one getting sued!

But now? No proof. No defense. And worst of all, she was sure Logan did this deliberately. That bastard!

Selina watched her face shift from red to white and back again. She didn’t have time for this circus.

"You really gonna let them keep shouting?" she asked the manager, clearly unimpressed.

The manager snapped to attention. "Of course not, Miss Star. We’ll escort them out immediately."

Once the crowd dispersed, Selina called for her driver and returned to her villa at Sapphire Valley.

Upstairs, she opened her laptop and scrolled past the avalanche of Angelica scandals until she finally found the one she wanted—Perry Group’s handbag plagiarism case.

Five designs were under legal fire.

Selina clicked through them, and her brows lifted.

Perry Group was bold—those designs screamed Rowan. They were iconic, timeless bestsellers that had been released years ago. Selina had two of those bags in her own closet.

Did Perry Group not vet their designs at all before production?

Or... had someone guided them into thinking these were safe bets?

Then she remembered what Mrs. Perry had said—about Logan.

Selina opened a new tab and searched Logan + Perry Group.

A cool, smooth voice cut in behind her.

"What’s Mrs. Reid looking at?"

Selina jolted, mouse slipping. Logan stood leaning casually against the doorframe, arms crossed, one brow raised with a half-smirk.

Caught red-handed.

Selina frantically tried to close the tab, but couldn’t. "I—I was just..."

"The Head of the Reid Group and the Perry Group..."

Logan stepped forward, leaning over until he completely enveloped her in his arms. His chin rested lightly on her shoulder, and his hand slid over hers, guiding the mouse.
