Dorian quipped, “Aren’t you afraid Sophia will steal your thunder?”

Maelis planted her hands on her hips. “You’re too young to get it. Sophia and I have different styles. I want to be the queen, but around Sophia, I don’t mind playing the princess. When we stand together, all eyes will be on us.”
