Seeing Sheena come out, the three of them bowed respectfully.
Sheena gazed at the clouds on the horizon and instructed the bodyguards, "Fetch the whip. Following Mr. Corey's previous rules for himself, he'll get twenty lashes every afternoon, no holding back."
The butler and bodyguards exchanged glances, both frozen in place.
Sheena frowned, displeased. "What's the matter? Did I not make myself clear?"
"Nothing's wrong, miss. We're on it."
Mountville was quite large, and in her childhood, Albert had built a small stable at the foot of the mountain because Sheena enjoyed horseback riding.
Sheena's first pony was a gift from Corey on her eleventh birthday, flown in from Ardolisia. She loved it then, but ever since the incident leading to Farlem, she had not ridden that horse again.
The bodyguards swiftly obtained the whip and bowed before Sheena.
Then, they opened the door to the altar room.
Inside, Corey was still transcribing, uninterrupted by the footsteps.
"Mr. Corey, we're sorry for this, but it's Ms. Lawson's order—twenty lashes."
Corey remained composed, placing down his pen with dignity.
Perhaps from his previous acts of self-harm, he seemed accustomed to it.
He swiftly removed his suit jacket, leaving only a thin shirt to endure the punishment.
Next, he pushed the small table forward several steps to avoid accidentally ruining the freshly transcribed pages.
Sheena lingered by the door for a long time until the sharp, consecutive whipping sounds emanated from within the room.
The sound was particularly piercing, sending shivers down one's spine.
Sheena clenched her palms tightly, suppressing the strange emotions within her, and stepped out of the old mansion, driving away from Mountville.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
