Elliot quickly leaned over and pecked Sheena's cheek, looking like a kid who had just scored some candy, with a triumphant gleam in his eyes.
The engine of the luxury car roared to life once more, disappearing into the darkness.
After dinner, the two of them sat on the bed.
Elliot was busy handling some business matters for the Jenkins Group on his tablet, while Sheena was deeply engrossed in playing a mobile game with Phoebe.
They were fully focused, and their faces showed seriousness.
Half an hour later, Elliot finished his work and quietly wrapped his arms around Sheena's waist from behind.
He quietly watched her play the game, too timid to disturb her.
It was not until Sheena won the round that Elliot mustered the courage to reach out and block Sheena's screen, preventing her from pressing another button.
"What are you doing?"
Elliot lazily rested his chin on her shoulder. "Honey, how long are you going to play? Aren't you going to spend some time with me tonight?"
Sheena pushed away his hand and pressed the confirmation button to enter the game.
"Aren't I spending time with you right now?"
Elliot nuzzled her neck and deliberately used his warm breath to tickle her sensitive earlobe, his husky voice seductive.
"I did not mean spending time like this, you know."
Sheena giggled and quickly dodged his teasing, her attention still focused on the game.
"Didn't we agree last night not to engage in any vigorous activities today to see if there's a correlation between my outburst and nighttime exhaustion? Did you forget?"
Elliot sighed.
He did forget.
With such a beautiful partner beside him, how could he resist?
Sheena was busy selecting heroes for the match, not even bothering to look up.
"So stop messing around. Go play on your own. For the sake of our experiment, we shouldn't engage in any physical activity tonight."
Feeling utterly defeated, Elliot flopped down on the bed, feeling extremely frustrated.
He reluctantly picked up his phone and started scrolling through it while Sheena continued to enjoy her game, occasionally chatting with Phoebe through the in-game voice chat.
The more Elliot thought about it, the more dissatisfied he felt.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
