Sheena suddenly felt melancholic as she recalled the events from a year ago, but she did not say anything about it.
…
The next day, Elliot woke up early.
Perhaps it was because Sheena would accompany him to visit the Freeman family, but he had not slept much all night.
He could not tell if he was excited or nervous.
After changing into his suit, he sat on the edge of the bed, gazing out at the towering buildings outside, lost in thought.
Sheena woke up to this scene.
The man sat upright, his back turned to her, deep in contemplation.
Even in his daze, he appeared dignified and charming.
Sheena's hand lightly slipped into Elliot's dark suit jacket from behind, hooking onto the belt at his waist and tugging at it.
"What are you thinking? Something on your mind?"
Elliot turned in response, bending down to cup her face in his hands and kissing her soft pink lips.
As if unsatisfied with the kisses, he boldly marked his territory, planting kisses on her forehead, chin, eyes…
Sheena was almost overwhelmed by his relentless kisses, her palm pressing against his face to catch her breath.
"What's gotten into you? Why are you so passionate all of a sudden? It's making me uncomfortable… You're acting like we're about to part ways."
Elliot held her tightly in his arms, nuzzling against her neck.
"We won't part, never. I just remember when I first met you in Svelton, and you still recognized me even though I was wearing a mask. I was just overwhelmed with emotions."
Sheena patted his back, whispering earnestly, "Because you've always been in my heart, only you. I've never forgotten you."
She had once deluded herself into thinking she could let go of this relationship.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
