Once the seeds of doubt were planted, they would multiply wildly and get out of control.
In the brief minutes that Freida was away, Nathaniel had entertained countless speculations.
He selfishly hoped that Asher's condition was not caused by a virus but by the formula, something deliberate...
Freida quickly returned with the old formula canisters she had collected.
"Mr. Nicholls, I always use the formula cans until they're almost empty. This half scoop is a mixture from several old cans."
Nathaniel took them and carefully compared the old and new formulas.
Not being familiar with the formula himself, he could not determine much difference.
"Tell me about your suspicions."
Pointing to the half scoop from the old cans, Freida explained, "In the previous cans, the formula was slightly yellowish with fine powders, and it had a rich, fragrant aroma. But the milk powder from the new can is white. Even though the powder is quite fine, it doesn't produce the same rich aroma when mixed compared to the formula from the old cans."
Nathaniel re-examined them and, following Freida's description, noticed subtle differences.
"Do you think there might be a problem with this batch of formula?"
Freida nodded.
Nathaniel's eyes narrowed as he said, "Both Asher and Adora have consumed this brand of formula before. Plus, Asher had only been consuming formula from the previous batch. If this batch of milk powder is problematic, it simply doesn't add up."
Freida scratched her head in confusion.
Nathaniel's reasoning made sense, leaving her feeling confused about the situation.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
