Nathaniel's expression remained cold as he gracefully brushed off Lionel's hand, clearly indicating that they were nowhere close for him to do that.
"Let's not dwell on the past. I can have a civil conversation with you, but if you insist on bringing them up, don't blame me for going on and on with you all night."
His smirk hinted at mischief as he continued, "I'm sure your subordinates would love to hear about their boss' shameful history."
Lionel's face darkened, his gaze piercing, and he chose not to respond.
The tension in the air was palpable, and Elliot, who was already far ahead, glanced at them.
"Are you two here to bicker or to get things done? If you really can't stand each other, have a fight once everything settles down a bit. Whoever loses shuts up."
Nathaniel was taken aback, and he fell silent.
Lionel was equally shocked, joining the two as they entered the National Investigation Bureau.
"That's not a bad idea. As the former head of the Special Investigation Department, Mr. Nicholls surely has some skills. When should we have a go at it?"
Although Lionel had never fought Nathaniel before and was unsure who would win, Lionel had consistently kept up with his training over the past year.
On the other hand, Nathaniel had been living comfortably abroad for nearly a year, and Lionel was confident he could take him down easily.
He expected Nathaniel to decline the challenge, but to his surprise, Nathaniel seemed rather nonchalant about it.
He replied, "Sure, once Asher's matters are settled, I'll take you up on that. But I don't accept a challenge without a stake, just to make it interesting."
With a meaningful glance at Lionel, Nathaniel quickly caught up to Elliot's pace and walked ahead.
Lionel stared at his arrogant back and chuckled. "Do you actually think you can beat me?"
Nathaniel raised his chin slightly, his steps were steady, and his delicate and beautiful face made him devilishly handsome.
Watching them both getting fired up about the bet, Elliot chimed in, "Lionel, you'll be embarrassing the National Investigation Bureau if you lose, and you'll be sent to boot camp for a seven-day intense training Bureau. Plus, it's also an embarrassment for the Jenkins family, so you'll receive ten lashes."
Lionel was at a loss for words…
Elliot was quite ruthless!

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
