Miguel's territory was filled with all sorts of characters, and Jacob did not particularly enjoy dealing with them.
Miguel knew that Jacob dreaded the thought of it, and he laughed.
"Well, if Captain Jacob comes to my place tomorrow morning, those unaware might think I've gotten into trouble again. My men are only going to feel tense all over. They'll be so cautious and uneasy during poker that it sucks out all the fun!"
He continued, "Besides, if word gets out that I'm being watched by the National Investigation Bureau, where does that leave my reputation?"
The group chuckled at Miguel's jest, and the topic was dropped.
Soon, Elliot became serious and gestured for Jacob to bring over a stack of documents from his desk and place them in front of Miguel.
Miguel quickly skimmed through the documents, getting a sense of what they were about.
However, he appeared uncertain as he looked up to Elliot for clarification.
"Mr. Jenkins, this is…"
Elliot's tone remained casual as he explained, "This collaboration has been pleasant, and you've proven to be reliable. Most of the milk formula industry under the Jenkins Group will gradually transition to your control. How does that sound?"
Then, he lightly tapped the blank space in the bottom right corner with his finger, saying, "If you agree to it, just sign here."
With that, Elliot lifted his teacup and leisurely sat back on the sofa, seemingly unconcerned about Miguel's decision.
In contrast to Elliot's calmness, Miguel reacted strongly.
He excitedly clutched the agreement with trembling fingers.
He had not expected to secure such a lucrative deal with the Jenkins Group.
After carefully reviewing the contract once more, he asked for confirmation again, "Mr. Jenkins, are you really willing to collaborate with me?"
Elliot raised an eyebrow, his gaze deep and penetrating, before nodding slightly.
"What's wrong? Is there something else on your mind? If you feel hesitant, feel free to speak up."
However, Miguel almost blurted out, "I'm in!"
His unexpected response earned a puzzled glance from Jacob.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
