Putting on a serious expression, Yosef's smile faded as he glanced at Asher, who was weak and could not keep his eyes open in Elliot's arms.
He spoke earnestly, "I've been conducting tests for several years, and it's my profession. I can do it with my eyes closed and even in my dreams!
"Please trust me. I would never be careless with the lives of two babies."
Having known each other for years, Elliot naturally trusted him.
Entrusting the blood tests to Yosef was the most reassuring choice.
Both babies were taken into the lab for testing, and Yosef focused on his work.
Elliot did not want Sheena to see the babies getting blood drawn, fearing it would distress her. Thus, he insisted they wait outside for the results.
As they sat side by side, Sheena felt tense and nervous.
Elliot wrapped his arms around her shoulders, comforting her not to dwell on the blood drawing.
"The best is yet to come. All of this will pass."
Sheena leaned into his embrace, overwhelmed with mixed emotions.
After over half an hour, the lights in the lab went out, indicating that the results were ready.
Sheena broke free from Elliot's embrace and approached the door.
Soon, she heard the sound of the lock turning from inside, and Yosef, holding the results, emerged with a solemn expression, adjusting his black-framed glasses.
"What's the result?" Sheena asked anxiously.
Yosef's expression was grave as he made eye contact with Sheena and glanced at Elliot behind her.
"Well… there's both good news and bad news."

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
