The luxury car parked in a remote, modest residential area beneath an inexpensive, ordinary apartment building.
Nathaniel stepped out, taking a quick glance around at the subpar landscape and surroundings.
"You've been living here for the past five years?"
Mavis nodded, explaining, "The landlady is very kind. Even though the location is a bit far from work, it's really cheap, so I've stayed until now."
The cars in the parking lot of this kind of apartment complex were mostly affordable ones. Hence, Nathaniel's all-black Bentley sports car stood out, exuding an air of luxury that seemed out of place.
The late-night breeze was chilly, and Nathaniel adjusted Mavis's suit jacket.
"You should go up. Don't forget about our date tomorrow."
Mavis did not refuse. She was understanding, but it was also partly because she was embarrassed to invite him into her humble home, afraid it was too shabby for someone of his stature.
"I'll wash your jacket and return it tomorrow."
"No need. It's yours," Nathaniel replied before getting back into his car.
Before long, the car disappeared into the night under the moonlight at the end of the road.
…
At midnight, the entire E&S Haven was enveloped in silence.
The family of four huddled together on the large bed in the master bedroom.
Asher and Adora slept soundly, and the scene was extremely loving and warm.
Elliot lay flat on his back, his long lashes fluttering slightly as he stared at the ceiling.
He was wide awake, unable to shake off the tainted formula incident and Keaton's escape on his mind.
Even though Elliot had an extensive influence across Froania, he had spent four years trying to capture Keaton, only to be outsmarted time and time again.
Keaton had military experience and excellent counter-surveillance skills, making it difficult to catch him.
Yet, Elliot could never feel at ease as long as Keaton remained at large.
Was Keaton seeking revenge against everyone, or was he specifically targeting Elliot due to past grievances?
"Ahem…"
Lying on the other side of the bed, Sheena cleared her throat softly, bringing his focus back to the present.
He glanced at Sheena and asked, "Nana, why are you awake? Do you have something on your mind?"
Sheena sighed softly, whispering, "You're obviously the one feeling troubled."

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
