Nathaniel continued to undress, his white shirt outlining his perfect waistline and hinting at his toned abs.
He did not respond to Mavis and headed straight to the changing room.
Mavis rubbed her sore jaw and remained seated on the carpet.
A minute later, Nathaniel emerged from the changing room, tossing her a brand-new white silk shirt and a robe.
"Make do with this for tonight."
"Okay," Mavis replied, feeling a bit shy about wearing his clothes.
She finished showering an hour later and stepped out of the bathroom.
The bedroom was dimly lit by a warm bedside lamp, and Nathaniel lay on the bed, his eyes closed as if asleep.
He looked peaceful in his slumber, and the soft light from the lamp added a cozy ambiance to the room.
Mavis gazed at his sleeping profile from a distance.
Suddenly, she felt that if she could spend every day of the coming year with him and watch him as he sleeps, it would not be too bad.
She should be content.
Mavis tiptoed over, intending to tuck Nathaniel in.
However, her wrist was suddenly gripped tightly, immobilizing her.
Mavis trembled.
Immediately after, Nathaniel opened his eyes, his blue gaze cold and piercing.
"I'm a light sleeper, so don't come near me at night. Consider this a warning. Next time, I might just break your wrist."
"I-I just wanted to help you with the blanket…"
Her face turned pale, and she quickly changed her tune under his stern gaze.
"I got it. I won't do it again."

The readers' comments on the novel: Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson)
The novel is too abusive it spoils the joy of reading it. I hate the punishment part between sheena and Eliot....
