Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 1403

Mavis quietly listened to their conversation, suppressing a chuckle.

She could not help but think Gabrielle was a playful young lady.

Seeing Seymour at a loss for words, Mavis chimed in, "Whatever men can do, women can naturally do as well. And even what men can't do, women can still manage, like giving birth."

Gabrielle turned to Mavis, looking at her with a hint of admiration.

"You're quite funny. Our personalities are quite similar. It's no wonder Nate likes you and wants to hide you in his room."

Taking a step forward, Gabrielle eagerly took Mavis's wrist.

"Since Nate isn't back yet, I'll take you to my climbing roses garden. It's stunning there. You can push me on the swing."

Mavis was caught off guard, unsure of whether to refuse or agree.

Before she could turn to Seymour for help, Gabrielle had already dragged her away to the backyard.

"There's hardly a mansion in all of Froania with a climbing roses garden as beautiful as mine. I promise you'll love it!"

It was almost time to pick Adora up from her kindergarten.

Nathaniel glanced at his watch and immediately stopped his work, ensuring he saved and backed it up before shutting down his computer.

Then, he grabbed his suit jacket from the nearby rack and instructed his assistant outside the door, "I won't be coming back to the office today. If there's an emergency, call me. Otherwise, don't bother me."

"Alright, Mr. Nicholls."

Nathaniel took his suit jacket and entered his private elevator with indifference.

When his car reached the kindergarten entrance, it was precisely dismissal time.

A group of adorable children queued up to leave the kindergarten, and quite a few parents were already waiting at the gate.

Nathaniel stepped out of the car, his tall stature allowing him to spot the group of toddlers led by the preschool teacher, Zahra Pearce, from outside the crowd.

However, it was different that day. He did not see Adora.
